The Hendrickson High School Band is proud to present their 2025 production, Emergence. Emergence explores the journey of growth and transformation; the spark of new beginnings, moving through moments of challenge and struggle, and rising into strength and beauty. “When things change inside you… things change around you.”

Art enriches, challenges and inspires our imaginations. Set it to music and all it takes is a little spark to bring it to life!

MGJ Band’s latest production is inspired by the Mexican folk art Alebrijes. These are stylized animals or creatures that are known for their bright, intricate, and often elaborate painted patterns. These imaginative, fantastical beings embody the vibrancy of Mexican culture and are often considered protectors or spirit animals. This year’s production is a fiery and imaginative mix of bold, vivid color and exciting Latin and Spanish music.

The Cavalier Band is using the iconic music from the global musical phenomenon to help bring the novel Les Misérables to life. From the whispers of a lone whistle to the triumphant voices of a people united, our story unfolds beyond the page—where hope, loss, and resilience shape a new tomorrow.

The Glenn High School Band 2025 production, It All Begins with a Dot, explores the intricate artistry of pointillism, where countless small details unite to form a powerful whole. Guided by the ideas of “Order, Design, Balance, Tension, Harmony,” each movement explores one of these elements through music, visual design, and an exploration of the creative process.

Two pianists, 88 keys, and a symphony of style. This show will take us through a journey of different musical styles, From contemporary, to classical, romantic to rock. Our protagonists act as musical narrators, guiding our audience.

This year’s show is about the in-between — those powerful moments where we’re caught between what was and what’s about to be. The Liminal Space brings that feeling to life with bold music, dynamic energy, and a whole lot of “rouse” heart. You’ll hear powerful classics (Verdi, Bruckner, Mahler) reimagined with a modern edge, see shimmering fields of light, and feel the rush of change right alongside us. The McNeil High School Band 2025 production, “The Same Old Story” is a tale of love, passion, struggle, and sacrifice—retold across generations through La Bohème, Rent, and Moulin Rouge. Our show will explore the dreams and hardships of creative artists who risk everything for freedom, beauty, truth and love. Though tragedy may strike, their stories live on, proving that art, love, and the human spirit are eternal.

The Leander High School Band 2025 production, Curiouser and Curiouser, takes audiences on a whimsical and surreal journey through Wonderland, where the impossible becomes reality and logic is left behind. From chasing the elusive White Rabbit to encountering the eccentric Mad Hatter and the enigmatic Cheshire Cat, Alice’s adventure unfolds in a world of wonder, chaos, and imagination. As the Queen of Hearts demands order in her court, Wonderland unravels, leaving Alice to question whether it was all just a dream, or something much more real.

It is more than just water falling from the sky and The Churchill Band is no stranger to performing in all types of weather. The journey through the elements can symbolize struggle, resilience and ultimately, transformation showing how even the stormiest moments can lead to something brighter and stronger on the other side. Though it begins with innocence and clarity, the melody Simple Gifts, gradually develops through added harmonies and variations that reveal complexity beneath its surface. These shifts—sometimes light and delicate, sometimes tense and searching—mirror human emotional journeys, where certainty often gives way to ambiguity and introspection. The piece ultimately becomes a meditation on how simplicity can conceal profound truths, reminding us that what seems plain often carries deeper, more poignant meaning.

“Perfect Imperfections” is a modern exploration of the duality between perfection and imperfection, inspired by the elegance of Swan Lake and the intensity of Black Swan. The show delves into the relentless pursuit of perfection and the fractures that reveal our raw humanity. Through striking contrasts of light and dark, order and chaos, it portrays a powerful journey of transformation and vulnerability. In the end, it reveals a haunting truth: imperfection is the truest form of beauty.

“Under Pressure” follows carbon’s extraordinary journey to becoming a diamond. It begins with raw, unstable energy, driven deep into the earth by immense weight and force. Through struggle, heat, and relentless pressure, the carbon undergoes transformation. At last, it emerges as a diamond—brilliant, powerful, and unbreakable.

RED: The journey of Red Riding Hood

Beyond the Break is a field production inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold to create something stronger and more beautiful. This ancient practice serves as the foundation for our show, symbolizing that through breaking and struggle, resilience and artistry emerge. Much like mental health, the journey portrayed on the field reminds us that setbacks are not endings but opportunities for growth, renewal, and transformation. Our hope is that audiences leave inspired, seeing that beauty and strength are often forged in the very moments we feel most fractured.

We embark on an ethereal journey through the realm of dreams, where imagination knows no bounds and possibilities are limitless. We explore the theme of personal utopias and the power of our visions that take us where we want to be and make us who we are.

The Vandegrift Band and Vision Dance Company proudly present our 2025 production, Gaia’s Embrace. Inspired by the powerful spirit of the earth goddess, the show explores the forces of wind, water, and fire, brought to life through the music of Igor Stravinsky, Frank Ticheli, Eric Whitacre, and Andrew Markworth. Through emotional music, intricate drill, and expressive choreography, audiences will be immersed in the raw beauty and unstoppable power of nature’s elements. Gaia’s Embrace promises an unforgettable journey as we celebrate the spirit and energy of the earth on the field.

“The Beholder” allows us to explore the idea that the sense of beauty is in itself, transient in nature. What one perceives as flawless and captivating, may be ordinary or unappealing by another. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
